In February, Lee County sheriff’s deputies responded to a bank robbery in Ft. Myers, Florida. The suspect threatened he had a bomb, and took two hostages; when he held a knife to the throat of one of them, a sheriff’s deputy sniper took him out with a single head shot through a computer monitor.
